A HUGE mistake people make when they start marketing online is that they forgot to be personable. The number one problem with the internet in my opinion is the lack of interaction with the web site visitor and the site the owner.
This is why its so important to be as sincere and personable as you can when are doing any kind of internet marketing.
Whenever you're writing your emails or creating sales pages remember to always be sincere. You want to come across to your web site visitors and email readers as a reliable source and you cant do this if you are always pitching.

but nobody likes when you flat out pitch to them"
It really ticks me off when I see marketers promote things that they haven't used or tested myself just to make a profit. I recently purchased a product that was recommended to me by a very well know internet marketer and the product I purchased was ridden with bugs and problems and I eventually had to return it and ask for a refund.
Always remember to draw upon your heart when you market products online. Be since and always remember what you're working for. I like to take the approach that I am working for my web site visitors. My job is to make my customers happy and give as much information as I can. And when I promote services and products to my prospects and existing customers I make sure I fully believe in the product. This is why I test and use all of the products I recommend. If its not something I do not find useful I will not promote it.
Remember a great marketing list is all about creating a relationship and earning the respect of your web site visitors. This fact goes along with any type of marketing your focusing on. If you don't gain trust and respect from your readers your business will not go far. Don't pitch and always be sincere in your marketing efforts.
