Chase Credit Car Marketing Envelope

Unless you have been living in a cave for the past 30 years you know that credit card companies make BIG bucks and this has a lot to do with their marketing. Here is a great example of a real life marketing message sent to me by Chase Credit Cards.

Marketing Envelope

First off lets take a look at the envelope I received in the mail. This piece of advertising is HUGE. How can anyone miss it. This is a great marketing tactic. The bigger the better and Chase Credit Card proves it. You will also notice that this envelope is blank! This creates curiosity with the receiver. Instead of the receiver immediately trashing it because they know its another credit card offer, the curiosity overwhelms the reader enough to open and see what's inside. The words "Do Not Bend" also have an effect over the receiver. This is a great marketing tactic used by Chase Credit Cards to create curiosity.

Marketing Sales Letter

Here is what was inside the envelope. As you will probably notice it looks a lot like an internet sales letter. It even has headlines, bullet points, time sensitive information, and a call to action. This is a great example of marketing sales letter.

Small Marketing Envelope

This small envelope was also inside the large envelope. As you can see its pre-stamped and and already addressed to the right location. This make it easy for the receiver to send in their information. This technique boosts response rates like crazy.
